In addition to just showing that you are a business that takes time to consider all their clients with equality, you are also expanding your potential client base by providing a platform that EVERYONE feels a part of.
Inclusivity is more pervasive in almost all media and especially around the web. It can be integrated into almost anything: imagery, text, alt text, forms... you name it! The concept applies to gender neutrality, race, culture, age, ability and accessibility.
This does not mean going over the top and blatantly publishing that you/your business is inclusive. This means taking subtle steps to ensure that everyone can access your content comfortably. For example, use multi-cultural and/or LGBTQ imagery and language, provide gender neutral options on forms, use black background with white text for those with visual impairments or sensory issues, provide imagery support for those who are still learning to read. There are a myriad of things you can do to help your clients feel supported and in turn grow your business.
