Do you know your keyboard shortcuts? We love our computers, but it is nice to increase our productivity and get more done in less time so that we can get out and enjoy the day. Here are a few key shortcuts that can help you do just that:
CTRL+Z - undo (a personal favourite): this one will save your butt! Undo an accidental delete, overwrite, what the @#$?!... you get the picture.
CTRL+C - copy: highlight whatever you want, and copy without having to right-click, scroll down the menu, find copy, miss copy, do that again...
CTRL+V - paste: click where you would like to put said copied material, press these keys and voila! there it is!
CTRL+A - select all: highlight your whole page instead of trying to click from the start of your page, scroll down while clicking and releasing at the end of the page.
CTRL+W - close: close whatever window you are in without having to hit the x in the corner.
Alt+Tab (that's the one with the arrows that go left and right): if you are working in multiple apps at a time, you can quickly switch between them by pressing this combination.
