How To Get The Fastest Web Browsing Experience
Updated: Oct 13
Ever noticed your web browsing experience has slowed down? There are a few preventative steps that you can take to keep your surf time optimal. Whether you access the internet via Chrome, Edge, Firefox or something else, here are some things you can do:
First things first, ensure that your computer is virus and malware-free. That means ensuring that you have a recommended anti-virus program installed on your computer. NOT multiple programs, which can work against each other and not the free ones (which come with lots of "crapware" that can slow your computer down).
Limit the number of add-ons and extensions you install in your web browser. The more you install, the slower your experience gets. If you must, choose your add-ons wisely - will they enhance your experience? Limit the number of ads you see?
Be sure to regularly update your browser. These updates come with security updates and patches that help keep your browsing experience safe.
Clear your browsing history and cache. Your browser saves your history and caches it to help facilitate faster loading time BUT when a website is updated, this cached information can cause loading or formatting issues.
