Windows 7 Reaches the End of Its Support Life
Still running Windows 7? It's time for an upgrade... On January 14th, 2020 (that's in less than two weeks) Microsoft will end its 10-year support for the operating system.
What does that mean? It means that security updates for Windows 7 will no longer be developed or released leaving your computer at greater risk for security breaches. Technical support from Microsoft will also no longer be available should you need to troubleshoot an issue with the developer.
You can also expect internet services related to Windows 7 such as online backgammon, checkers and program guides will no longer be available.
So what should you do? Your wisest course of action is to upgrade to the latest operating system (currently Windows 10).
Need help? We can do that AND we'll walk you through your new operating system, right in the comfort of your own home if you prefer.
